Terms of Service

1. Platform Scope & Operating Model

Finderreelrom provides an algorithmic dispatch software platform connecting passengers traveling in identical directions with independent, Traficom-licensed taxi service operators in Finland. Finderreelrom does not directly own transport fleet vehicles or act as a motor carrier.

2. Passenger Eligibility & Conduct

Users must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. By booking a seat via the platform, all users agree to:

• Arrive at designated pick-up meeting spots on time.
• Treat fellow co-riders and taxi drivers with mutual respect. Verbal abuse, harassment, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.
• Refrain from smoking, consuming alcohol, or bringing open food items inside vehicles.

3. Fare Structure & Payment Splitting

The total fare displayed in the app prior to trip confirmation is calculated based on standard distance-time taxi tariffs approved in Finland. When multiple passengers share a vehicle, the total fare is split proportionally based on reserved seat count. Payment is processed automatically upon ride completion.

4. Cancellations & No-Show Penalties

Free cancellation is permitted within 2 minutes of ride matching. Cancellations made after a driver has been dispatched or failing to arrive at the pick-up location within 3 minutes of vehicle arrival may incur a standard €5.00 cancellation fee to compensate the driver for fuel and time.

5. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the platform shall be settled in the District Court of Helsinki (Helsingin käräjäoikeus).
